PB 10 for 10

I've been thinking about my PB list for the past few days and decided to do 10 books that are new to my classroom this year.  I love adding new books to my library so here are some of my recent favorites.

  1. You have so many of my new favorites! I love, love, love Sparky. And Yard Sale has a new place in my heart too. Amazing conversations I had with my two 5 year olds about family after reading it. Great additions to your classroom library!

  2. I love the first five books on your list! One and the Invisible Boy are two books that we've used for whole school reads (one classroom copy that every teacher reads to the class and then it's rotated through the students so they all get a chance to take it home and discuss it with their parents). I have not read the other five books on your list, but since it seems like we have similar tastes I will have to check them out.

  3. You have many of my favorites here - I love the Invisible Boy and What Do you Do with an Idea! Those are perfect books to read aloud at the beginning of the year for all grades. I ordered Yard Sale and can't wait to read it - I love all of Eve Buntings books!

  4. Many of these books have happily made it into my classroom library too! I am eager to check out Emily's Blue Period, Sparky, and Yard Sale and I am not familiar with these books. Thanks for sharing!
